MOOYAH Featured in The Greenville News

MOOYAH was recently featured in The Greenville News in an article titled, "Mooyah seeking franchise partners in Greenville, state".


The article discusses area developer Dick Ren’s plan to bring MOOYAH to Greenville and across the state. Ren notes the brand is family oriented, making it a good fit for Greenville. He also includes information about the fresh baked buns and 100 percent ice cream shakes.

Mooyah seeking franchise partners in Greenville, state

Texas-based Mooyah Burgers, Fries & Shakes wants to begin offering its brand of the “better burger” in Greenville and other parts of the state.
The chain has restaurants in 11 states, but none so far in South Carolina. “That’s why we’re looking to expand into the market,” said Dick Ren, area developer for Mooyah.
Greenville specifically is a focus for the restaurant, he said, because “it is a really good food town in terms of the types of restaurants that are there and the quality of food that is there.”

MOOYAH Featured on FOX 44

MOOYAH was recently featured on FOX 44 Central Texas in a segment titled, "National Burger Month is celebrated in Waco".

Alexis Spears of Fox 44 Central Texas went to the MOOYAH location on the campus of Baylor University in Waco, TX.  The article discusses National Burger Month and how MOOYAH has drawn in many happy customers with their variety of options. Within the feature, Baylor students were interviewed about National Hamburger Month, sharing their personal hamburger interests.

National Burger Month is celebrated in Waco

National Burger Month has all cow lovers uniting this May, taking a bite out of all the best meat and veggie burgers in town.
Mooyah, located on Baylor's campus in Waco, has drawn in a lot of happy customers with their self-customizable ordering options. The origin of the national month of recognition for burgers is unclear, but, we can all agree that burgers are tasty and a favorite food for most Americans.

MOOYAH was recently featured on MySherDenBuzz.com in an article titled, "Real Property Action Special - Two New Sherman Restaurants!!!"

The article features franchisee Philip Sipe talking about the new opening in Sherman, TX, and why he chose to join the MOOYAH franchise system. Alexis Barnett-Gillette, MOOYAH's Director of Marketing, spoke about the popularity of the MOOYAH menu and how the brand is looking to grow in many more neighborhoods in the future.

Real Property Action Special – Two New Sherman Restaurants!!!

The other restaurant announcement is that Mooyah Burgers, Fries and Shakes will be opening in the Sherman Town Center around July 15, according to owner Philip Sipe.

“‘Mooyah’ was one of the first businesses I looked into and it was the one I kept coming back to,” explained Sipe. “I evaluated a number of franchises. Ultimately, I decided it was the best fit for me.”

Mooyah Burgers, Fries and Shakes is one of the so called ‘gourmet’ burger places that has been sweeping the restaurant industry in recent years. Sipe said it was a six month process to decide on what business he wanted; and it was something simple that verified his decision.

MOOYAH Featured in the Daily Herald

MOOYAH was recently featured in the Daily Herald in an article titled, "MOOYAH Burger chain opens Utah with Provo location".

The article featured the story of Shayne Nielson, a Provo native who opened a chain of Subway Sandwich franchises in Norther Ireland. He returned to Provo to open a MOOYAH, wanting to become a part of a burger franchise. He was drawn to the ease of the operation MOOYAH provided while being a family- and kid-friendly brand that filled in the blanks where other burger franchises left off. From the ice cream to the chalkboards, Nielson feels MOOYAH will be a perfect fit for the community.

Mooyah Burger chain opens Utah with Provo location

PROVO -- After building a successful chain of Subway Sandwich franchises in Northern Ireland, Shayne Nielson is coming home to Provo with a food franchise new to Utah. Mooyah Burgers, which has several franchises throughout the U.S., particularly in Texas will open in Provo sometime this fall.
Born in Provo, Nielson says this is his first franchise venture in the U.S. market. Michael Mabry is helping him open the franchise.
"Our decision to come back here was because we wanted to develop another concept, like the better burger market," Nielson said.

MOOYAH Featured in CBS Money Watch

MOOYAH was recently featured in CBS Money Watch in an article titled "MOOYAH Burger, Fries, & Shakes Opens First Washington Location in Federal Way" which originally ran on RestaurantNews.com.

The article talks about the history of MOOYAH and its first arrival in the state of Washington. The owners of the new location, Peter Marthedal & Sebastian Brost, are experienced entrepreneurs and own a number of fast casual restaurants in Washington. Though the burger chain originally began far away in Texas, Director of Franchising for MOOYAH Michael Mabry says this location is just the first of many to come in the area.

MOOYAH Burgers, Fries, & Shakes Opens First Washington Location in Federal Way


Burger enthusiasts in Federal Way have something new to drool over.  MOOYAH, a fast-casual, “better burger,” fries and shakes chain, has opened its newest location at 1706 South 320th Street, Suite A, Federal Way, WA. To celebrate the new opening, MOOYAH of Federal Way held a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 14.  The first 50 customers in line received free MOOYAH for a year.
“ We've heard the demands and now we are very pleased to open our first location in Federal Way,” said Alexis Barnett Gillette, director of marketing for MOOYAH. “We just know the entire community is going to absolutely love our burgers, fries and shakes.”
The MOOYAH of Federal Way is owned and operated by Peter Marthedal & Sebastian Brost, experienced entrepreneurs owning a number of other fast casual restaurants in Washington.
