MOOYAH Featured on FastCasual.com

MOOYAH was recently featured on FastCasual.com in an article titled, "MOOYAH fans to create new burger". 

The article talks about the new social media contest running on MOOYAH's Facebook page asking guests to create a burger using the current items on the menu and also allowing fans to suggest new burger building toppings. The winner of the competition will win a $500 MOOYAH gift card and have their burger featured on MOOYAH menus across the nation. You can enter the Facebook competition by clicking HERE.

MOOYAH fans to create new burger


MOOYAH is calling on its guests and social media fans to create the brand's next featured burger. Through April 17, fans may visit the Facebook page and create a burger using the ingredients currently found on MOOYAH's menu. They can also suggest new ingredients not currently offered.
MOOYAH will select 20 entries for fans of its Facebook page to vote on. On May 17, MOOYAH will announce the winning burger recipe, which will become the featured burger in MOOYAH restaurants across the country. The winner will receive a $500 gift card, and his/her photo will also be featured at all points of purchase. Second place will receive a $250 gift card, while third place will receive a $100 gift card.

MOOYAH Featured in the San Francisco Business Journal

MOOYAH was recently featured in the San Francisco Business Journal in an article titled, "Mooyah Burgers enters Bay Area fast casual race".


In the article, franchise owner Loren Katzman discusses her future MOOYAH development and expansion plans for the Bay Area and how the new locations will provide many new job opportunities.  She talks about  the “Turkeytarian Moo’vement,” and how MOOYAH is starting a trend of providing new healthier options which is really setting them apart from every other competitor, since no others offer turkey burger options on their menu.

Mooyah Burgers enters Bay Area fast casual race

Another contender is entering the Bay Area’s “better burger” fast-casual dining scene. And it’s attacking with turkey.
Mooyah, a burger chain out of Frisco, TX, already has one buzzing restaurant in Walnut Creek and plans to roll out 20 more locations in the Bay Area within the next few years.
While the chain’s signature Mooyah burger is a classic all-beef patty served with a side of fries, the eatery also offers low-calorie turkey burger and veggie burger options with sweet potato fries as a healthier alternative.

Emerging Fast-Casual Chain Celebrates Growth with “Fast 50” Social Media Contest to Welcome New Guests

Dallas, TX MOOYAH, a fast-casual, “better burger,” fries and shakes chain, is proud to announce the opening of its 50th location, which opens its doors to hungry MOOYAH guests on March 4, 2013, in Plano, TX. Marking the 35th MOOYAH location in Texas, the brand continues to penetrate the Texas market, while also aggressively pursuing franchise growth in select markets, including Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, California, Virginia, North Carolina, and New England.

“This is an important milestone for the MOOYAH brand,” said Michael Mabry, Director of Franchise for MOOYAH. “We can’t wait to continue our growth of MOOYAH throughout Texas, and further expand the brand into key markets across the country.”

To help celebrate the opening of its 50th location, MOOYAH will launch the “Fast 50” Social Media contest. MOOYAH guests in the Plano area are encouraged to visit the 50th location after it opens, and snap a photo of them in the restaurant. The first 50 guests to upload that photo via the contest app on the MOOYAH Facebook Fan Page (http://bit.ly/Fast50PhotoContest) will receive a coupon for a free burger.

The 50th MOOYAH location will be owned and operated by Jeff Kullman. In 2012, Kullman won MOOYAH’s Franchisee of the Year award, and his son, Jason Kullman, won the Operator of the Year award. Together, the family operates MOOYAH locations throughout Texas, including Flower Mound and Southlake, with new locations planned in Plano and Grapevine, TX.
