MOOYAH Featured in Federal Way Mirror

MOOYAH was recently featured in the Federal Way Mirror in an article titled, "MOOYAH Burgers opens first Washington franchise".

The article talks about the exciting options that MOOYAH offers to allow customers to customize their own burgers, highlighting the signature MOOYAH Burger with two hefty patties. They touch on the delicious shakes and the kid-friendly atmosphere. The article also mentions April 27 as a day full of events, where the first fifty customers in line will receive FREE MOOYAH burgers for a year. Business partners Peter Marathedal and Sebastian Brost mention they plan to open 12 more MOOYAHs in the next few years.

MOOYAH Burgers opens first Washington franchise

Mooyah Burgers, Fries and Shakes opened its first Washington state franchise on April 15 in Federal Way. The fast casual restaurant is located at 1706 S. 320th St., Suite A (behind Sterling Bank).

The highlight is the Mooyah Burger with two hefty patties. Order it Mooyah Style with choice of cheese, tomato, pickles, lettuce, grilled onions and Mooyah Sauce.

Other toppings include bacon, avocado and multiple sauces. Choose a fresh-baked bun available in white or whole wheat — or try an "Iceburger" wrapped in lettuce.

MOOYAH announces 3-tier expansion plan

MOOYAH has announced a three-tiered geographic objective to its next phase of 2013 expansion, including going into international markets for the first time in the company’s history, according to a company press release.
Included in this strategy are Middle East territories, such as Dubai of the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar. Development in Canada will start in the eastern portion of the country, with Latin America expansion geared toward Central and South America. Considering the various development timelines currently being detailed, store openings will come at different times through the 2013 and 2014 calendar year, according to the release. The chain hopes to open between four and seven there, however, by the end of the year.

MOOYAH Featured in Tulsa Business

MOOYAH was recently featured on TulsaBusiness.com in an article titled, "More Mooyah coming to Tulsa".

The snippet featured online shows a photo of MOOYAH at the South Point shopping center in Tulsa, as well as a photo of George Charlton, co-owner; Don Grimes, director of operations; manager E.J. King; and supervisor Jillian Schille. The description mentions that MOOYAH plans to expand its footprint not only in Tulsa, but within Oklahoma in the coming months. MOOYAH was recently featured in an article on QSRMagazine.com titled, "Mooyah Fans Play Chef to Create the Ultimate Burger".

The article talks about the new Facebook competition MOOYAH is running on their Facebook page in which fans can build their perfect burger. Fans are free to use all of the fixings currently provided at MOOYAH restaurants, and can even suggest new toppings and additions. 20 entries will be selected for voting on the MOOYAH Facebook page and the winner will receive a $500 MOOYAH gift card as well as have their burger served in MOOYAH restaurants across the nation.
